My Precious

I had a series 1 Spyderco Native in a time when Dinosaurs roamed the Earth and fire was made by rubbing stick and stone,if memory serves me well the blade steel was GIN-1.I gifted it to a friend of mine who promptly lost it.I felt the loss more than him and many years I capitulated and bought myself the Native 5 as ridiculous as this may sound it felt as if a void was filled.I am over the moon with my Native 5,interestingly on some knife websites the Spyderco Native is considered the best EDC ever made by Spyderco.By the way we are still friends by some miracle. Thanks to the Knife Guy once again for the best service.

Light and tough with great steel

This is my first Spyderco and I haven’t been disappointed. The knife is very well built but extremely light at the same time. Using an old Lansky system I was able to quite easily put the sharpest edge I’ve ever achieved on a blade, and it kept that edge for quite some time. A highly recommended knife with excellent ergonomics.
