Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and include all the pamphlets or documentation included with the product. Products not wrapped properly when returned will not qualify for refunds if the items or its packaging damaged in transit. Please use a box to wrap items securely so the product and its packaging arrives in a resalable condition. Items only thrown into a courier bag will most likely damage its packaging etc in transit and the return will likely not be accepted if not in a resalable condition.

Before returning any orders to us you will need to email us first to with your order number. A return number will be allocated to your order for any returns. This number should be added inside the parcel. Should no return number be allocated any items sent back will just be returned to sender. 


Receiving Faulty or Defective products

We only replace items if they are received defective or damaged. This should be brought to our attention within 30 days of receiving the order. Defective or damaged items should be returned to us as received brand new and unused. Should we be notified after 30 days that an item received is defective or damaged, we will inspect the item to see if it falls under the product warranty. 

Gift cards

Gift cards unfortunately are not refundable once purchased. Gift cards purchased does not expire.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If the return is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Refunds are done within 10 Business days of the approval of the return.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.


To return your product. You should courier your product to: The Knife Guy, Plot K85, R511 Brits North West ZA 0250 - Always email us first about the return and to receive a return number.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are returning an item a courier should be used where a signature is needed on a waybill. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Nor do we take any responsibility for your items until such time that we have signed for delivery to our premises for any returned items. We always suggest using a courier who offers insured parcels. Should you make use of our service to book a Courier on your behalf to collect and return and item. You should be able to print out waybills before the Courier arrives to collect the parcel. Risk only transfers to us once we receive the item at our Premises.
