Description

The B40 is a fixed blade bushcraft knife designed to work wonders around the camp. It is easy to handle thanks to its reduced weight and compact size and its spear point blade is both versatile and durable. Designed by Molletta, the B40 features a flat back tang that can be used in tandem with a fire steel to light a fire. This operation can be done while the B40 is inside its sheath thanks to a clever little hole in order to operate in total safety.

The B40 is equipped with a Sleipner stainless steel blade which is great for wood carving among other things. The milled handle scales offer an excellent grip and are removable should the knife need a thorough cleaning after a long trip out in the bush. For a more traditional look, the handle is available either in Santos or olive wood, while for a more technical style there are the Micarta and G10 versions. The B40 is supplied with a beautiful leather sheath, perfectly shaped on its profile, and it provides great retention on your hip. Be ready for anything while out and about with a B40 from LionSteel, proudly made in Italy.

Lionsteel B40GBK Bushcraft G10 Leather Sheath Poorly Designed.

The 'Leather Sheath' for the Lionsteel B40GBK is Poorly Designed. After sheathing the blade a few times the edge of the blade has cut the stitches inside the the hip loop, soon to rendering the 'Sheath' unwearable unless I modify the sheath itself. The Blade appears good and Bushcraft worthy.
