Since 1997 Randall's Adventure & Training has designed no-nonsense, affordable field knives specifically targeted to military, law enforcement, and the special operations community. Many of their knives now serve in combat zones around the globe. The knives have a "no questions asked" lifetime warranty. ESEE Knives is also setting the standard for many local, state and federal law enforcement officers when it comes to high performance, compact sheath knives with multiple carry options. The NTOA scored the 3-inch fixed blade a 4.77 out of a possible 5. In addition to knives, ESEE also offers survival, land navigation, tracking and other training courses along with free survival information.
The locals in Peru call the meanest, nastiest ant of the jungle by the name "Isula" and we know it as the Bullet Ant. The Bullet Ant is known to be independent, tough, light on its feet, and a real aggressive survivor. The Izula knife is built the same way and designed to be the perfect lightweight survival tool or concealed carry knife. The Izula-II is the same as the standard Izula except it has a half-inch of length added to the handle and includes full Micarta handle scales. These knives are made from high carbon 1095 steel. And while 1095 is a top choice for professional cutlery designed for hard use, it will rust and stain if not properly cared for - especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user's responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned.

The owner normally responded to my emails in under an hour, bought my knife the Monday and received it the Wednesday morning at my door in Cape Town. Package arrived sealed and in perfect condition.
Lovely little knife and very comfortable when using the belt clip.
I recently bought the Esee II Izula knife my first Esee blade. I wanted a small stout fixed blade for everyday carry primarily as a tool but also for tactical self defense purposes. I must say that it is a perfect size even for my extra large hands I'm able to get all four fingers on the handle. The micarta scales really offers a great grip and retention even when wet. I must say that dealing with The Knife Guy company has been an absolute pleasure very efficient and professional even they way items arrive securely packaged with foam and all. I must add that this is not my first purchase and dealings with The Knife Guy and it won't be the last time either. Will gladly give a more detailed review on the Esse II Izula in near future once I have put the compact but very stout blade to the test.
