Description

Sebenza means "work" in Zulu and these knives are intended to do just that. Built with handcrafted care at a production level, the Sebenza 31 has earned a worldwide reputation for rock-solid performance and a 'bank vault' feel. Offered with a Magnacut hollow-ground blade, the Sebenza 31's blade will retain a sharp edge with easy maintenance. The Sebenza 31 uses the Reeve Integral Lock, which is a lock bar integral to the back handle. Pre-bending at the end of the slot causes the spring to move to the base of the blade, thereby locking the blade open. It was a revolutionary design 31 years ago and through numerous refinements over the years, this is the best Sebenza created thus far.

Sebenza. Need i say more?

The Sebenza is arguably the most well known high-end production traditional pocket knife to ever exist, and for good reason. The action feels solid as rock yet smooth as silk.

Still setting the standard!

Despite the basic design being so old and the deluge of high quality titanium framelocks out there, the Sebenza as my first Chris Reeve knife still amazed me with its simple elegance, quality and solid build, not flashy or fancy but it will outlast me and my grandchildren if I get any! Sure the price is high but honestly once you start spending more than R 1000 on a knife most people not into knives think we are mad anyway. Just get one if you can and you will not be sorry. Thanks very much to The Knife Guy for getting this to me so quickly!
