Description

The Tigris is a hard-working cleaver design from CJRB Cutlery with an attractive angular look that more than pleases the eye. It may not look like it, but the handle is extremely comfortable to grip which makes this knife a pleasure to use. The weight of the broad cleaver blade allows for the ceramic bearings to really shine as the action is just so pleasing you'll find yourself flipping it open again and again. The liner lock is hidden within the handle design but it is quite easy to actuate and fold the blade closed. The Tigris is just the right size for most of us out there and at this price, we highly recommend you give it a shot, it may really surprise you.

Good quality knife.
White handles get dirty but that was part of its appeal.

Ridiculously excellent

Been waiting for the Crag for awhile but just had to opt for the Tigris when I saw it. Wanting something that stands out, the Tigris is definitely that. The design angles, colours, build quality and steel for that price make it an easy decision. Ridiculously overkill in design in a good way. Artisan/CJRB butter smooth action.
Edge retention is good and it does sharpen up easily. Something you actually need in a working knife.
Perfectly balanced at the index finger.
Did I mention it looks absolutely fantastic!
Negatives, a bit of a hotspot at the index finger and the white G10 get dirty but I use and abuse my knives. They're not pocket jewelry
