The Baby Machine by Reate Knives follows in the footsteps and overall footprint of the Starboy flipper. It's another excellent design from Tashi Bharucha with the goal of being a more compact, more pocketable knife than its larger, full-custom brother - the Machine. The Baby Machine replicates that amazing knife in form, function, fit and finish while providing you with a great deal of value, even at this price point. It is a direct competitor to the Small Sebenza, which is still the industry standard all these years later, and some may even prefer the Baby Machine more! It features a Damasteel RWL-34 stainless steel blade that rides on ceramic bearings for supremely smooth action using the ambidextrous thumb slot. The milled 6Al4V titanium handle has the appearance of an integral handle design without the exorbitantly high cost of machining a handle from a solid billet of titanium. What you have here are two pieces of titanium where the backspacers are integral to the scales and that gives you the unique look you'll find here. We love Tashi's designs as they are the perfect combination of form and function, where you don't actually sacrifice either of them!
